StretchLearn Course

Design stickers that actually print and cut clean

Vector contours, bleed and borders, CMYK colour, and real upload specs

Course Overview

What this course is designed to develop

This hands-on course teaches the production craft of sticker design, the gap between a nice drawing and a die-cut sticker that a vinyl cutter can actually make. You will build clean contour cut lines with a 1/8 inch offset, set bleed and safe margins so nothing important gets sliced, convert RGB art into CMYK-safe colour that does not shift in print, scale character art down to a 2 inch sticker that still reads, and export the precise files that Redbubble, Sticker Mule, STIX, and other services demand. You will leave able to ship a print-ready sticker pack and upload it without a rejection.

Learning Outcomes

What the learner should be able to understand, build, or execute.

01

Choose between die-cut, kiss-cut, and sticker-sheet formats for a given design and order

02

Build a clean vector contour cut line with a 1/8 inch offset border that a real cutter can follow

03

Set up bleed, a safe zone, and a white sticker border so no important detail gets sliced off

04

Convert RGB artwork to CMYK-safe colour and proof it so the printed sticker matches the screen

05

Scale and simplify character or detailed art so it still reads clearly at 2 to 3 inches

06

Export and upload correctly to Redbubble, Sticker Mule, and STIX using each service's real specs
