What this course is designed to develop

This course builds conversational Spanish from the sounds up, using the predictable five-vowel system and stress rules that make Spanish easier to pronounce than English. You will learn the highest-frequency words first, the present tense of regular and the key irregular verbs ser, estar, ir, and tener, and the ready-made phrases that carry you through greetings, travel, shopping, and small talk.
