Course Overview

What this course is designed to develop

Procreate for Designers treats the iPad not as a sketchbook but as a node in a real design pipeline. Across four modules you will configure canvases for both 300 DPI print and pixel-exact screen work, master brushes, layers, masks, and colour management, and finish by exporting PNG, PSD, TIFF, and PDF assets that move cleanly into Illustrator, Affinity, Figma, and InDesign. Every lesson uses named tools, concrete numbers, and worked examples you can repeat on your own device.

Learning Outcomes

What the learner should be able to understand, build, or execute.

01

Configure Procreate canvases to correct DPI, dimensions, and colour profile for print and digital deliverables

02

Build a reliable brush, gesture, and QuickMenu workflow that speeds up repeatable design tasks

03

Manage layers, masks, clipping masks, and groups to work non-destructively on client-ready files

04

Apply colour palettes, value control, and colour profiles so on-screen art matches printed output

05

Export PNG, PSD, TIFF, PDF, and animation files that hand off cleanly to other design software

06

Produce a finished, print-and-screen-ready illustration or lettering piece as a portfolio sample
