Course Overview

What this course is designed to develop

This course builds the everyday literacy most people are never taught: how common mental health conditions present, why they happen, and what genuinely helps. You will learn to read warning signs in yourself and the people around you using the same screening instruments clinicians use, distinguish ordinary stress from a condition that needs support, and navigate the care system from self-help to therapy to crisis lines. It is educational, not a substitute for professional care, and it equips you to act early and confidently.
