Course Overview

What this course is designed to develop

Most designers can lay out a page but freeze when a brief calls for original illustration. This course closes that gap with concrete frameworks, named tools (Illustrator, Procreate, Affinity Designer), and worked examples that take a sketch through to a print- and screen-ready asset. You will leave with a small library of reusable illustrations and a repeatable process for matching art to a brand voice.

Learning Outcomes

What the learner should be able to understand, build, or execute.

01

Translate a brief into a defined illustration style using a 6-axis style map

02

Build flat vector illustrations on a consistent grid with a restrained palette

03

Draw clean line illustrations using stroke weight hierarchy and corner logic

04

Add texture and grain that survives both print and screen reproduction

05

Construct and document a reusable spot-illustration system for a brand

06

Export and package illustration assets correctly for web, print, and handoff
