Course Overview

What this course is designed to develop

This course teaches Figma to people with zero design background, focused on the four things non-designers actually do: view files, comment on them, make small edits without breaking the design, and create simple assets from scratch. You will learn the canvas, frames, layers, and the difference between edit and view access; how to comment so feedback is unambiguous; how to change copy, swap images, recolor, and detach instances safely; and how to build a wireframe, a basic mockup, and an on-brand marketing graphic using auto layout, components, styles, and free Community templates. Every lesson ends with a concrete worked example and the practical guardrails — version history, branching pages, export settings — that keep you from damaging a real designer's file.
